Planned Parenthood

Does anybody know how our senators voted on Planned Parenthood defunding? Just curious. Well, I'm flipping mad, actually; disgusted...so much sorrow for these babies and mothers and humanity.

  1. Scott Brown, a Republican, and John Kerry, a Democrat, were among those voting against the Planned Parenthood resolution, which was defeated 58-42. Both senators went on to vote for the six-month budget measure funding the government through September.

  2. Efforts to strip family planning and low-income healthcare funding from Planned Parenthood ultimately failed in negotiations over this year's federal budget. However, the battle isn't over by a long shot

  3. U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) issued the following statement today after the Senate voted 42-58 to reject a Republican amendment that would have eliminated all federal funding for Planned Parenthood and denied millions of women access to health services such as cancer screenings and HIV/AIDS tests. The Senate also defeated an effort to roll back the health care reform law, before passing a budget that will fund the government through the remainder of Fiscal Year 2011.

  4. Those are some of the articles I read that explained Planned Parenthood will still be funded. I am very disturbed and continue to pray daily for an end to abortion. It seems that only the Mercy of God can do this thing.
