HELP!!!

We are in the final painfulest part of building. Lots of money has gone into the project--now we need to do lots of work with no $$. (I think this is from mis-managment--party by us for not watching the outflow more closely, and mostly the contractor. . .) ANYWAY--if any of you dear friends have a spare day, or a few hours we will be needing help with everything from putting up siding to paintin walls to picking up outside.

Treasures in heaven--right?! 4 weeks 3 days till inspection!

For Allison

Here is a song from Stan Rogers. He is an Ontario native folk singer with the voice of an angel, who wrote songs of the sea, farm life, common folk. I think you will enjoy him. He has many albums/CD's and all are solid and wonderful. He, unfortunately passed away in the 80's when he tried to save lives on a downed plane that was on fire. They have a Stan Rogers festival every summer in Cape Bretton......we would love to go to it one year.

Anyone want to join us for Nina and Pinta exhibit?

Hi,

The kids and I will go to see the ships tomorrow. They start the viewing at 9 a.m.
I am thinking the earlier we go, the less crowded it might be, although we would go later if anyone wants to join us and later works bettter. Here is a web page to look at:

If it doesn't rain, we could go to the park I see along the freeway in downtown Portland and have a lunch/snack and playtime afterward. They have some interesting looking jungle gyms there.

Last Meeting of the School Year

Hi Moms,
Tomorrow night, Tuesday, is the last meeting for the school year, same time and place. Please plan to attend because Joann Segovia has much to share with us. She and her family had the grace to attend a weekend with the "running nuns" who take in troubled youth and do amazing things with them to the greater glory of God. Joann learned a lot about how we should pray for our children, spiritual warfare and a host of other important topics. Please come for a night of fellowship and grace as we gather in His name; He most assuredly will be with us!

Nina and Pinta Tours

My kids and I are going to be in Portland on Friday the 24th for another reason (LLL Area Council Meeting) and thought we would make the gas worth it by going on a tour of the Nina and Pinta while we are there. Friday is also free day at the Portland art Museum--so if I can save up the $$ I might even fo out to dinner then to the Museum. The boat tours are $8 for adults and $6 for children 4-16. We toured the Pinta in Portland OR in 2008 and were very impressed. It is stunning to see the kind of ship that these brave sailors headed out in!! So relatively small and exposed to the elements!! REALLY BIG TILLER!! For real! Sailing across the ocean with a TILLER!
We will have a party with just the Eddyblouins, but if any other family wants to be a part of the fun we are planning to get to the ship at around 4 pm.

Beach Day!!!

Want to invite any and all to a beach day at Pemaquid Beach from 11:30 till we are done (maybe 3:30-4:30?). No need to rsvp--there is a charge for 12 and older--3 or 4 dollars? We go to the left, looking at the water, to get closer to the big kid friendly rocks at the left end. Dig out you beach toys and let's get the summer season under weigh!!!
